| dc.description.abstract | This project presents an integrated emergency detection and response system powered by cutting-edge hardware and software components. The system utilizes a local processing unit along with dedicated sensors for real-time detection of fire, gas leaks, and vibrations. The system also utilizes Long-Range Low-Power Radio Frequency (LoRa) communication technology, enabling the secure transmission of data in remote or sparsely connected areas. On the software side, Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithms detect emergency words and distress calls through voice. The system notifies through a sound when any risk occurs. Moreover, various sensor data and distress voice sentences, after text-conversion using a proprietary algorithm, are sent to the emergency center. The electronic display screen enhances emergency centers' response and communication to incidents through the display in real time of the incident date and time, nature of incident, subscriber name, as well as his/her location on a map. It also avails mechanisms for communication between the emergency center and individuals in hazardous locations. In summary, this project combines a robust infrastructure with a range of real-time data processing technologies for integration into a smart emergency system that is a lifeline to people, in an effort to improve and offer them protection in risky situations, especially during wars. The system is an effective and scalable solution that can be upgraded based on future technology in safety and smart building systems. | en_US |
