Abstract

The urban reality in Palestine has a special nature which was imposed by many surrounding circumstances, which contributed greatly in reality, according to the great urban growth in Palestine, it was necessary to study this growth, especially in housing projects, and study the possibility of applying the idea Residential neighborhoods, and the possibility of departing from their traditional image, especially by rapid development in economic, social and technological conditions, by taking into account local data in addition to studying the neighborhood theory with its known elements in terms of the proximity of housing to workplaces, providing services, and determining the distance of And saw other ruling elements in residential areas planning. The research aims to study the possibility of planning and designing a residential neighborhood and determining what services and public facilities are required for the population in the study area (neighborhood). In addition to public parks, the current reality was also analyzed and evaluated and the existing needs and problems identified, and then some strategies and proposals were developed around planning and designing these services, with the population growth and urban development in Palestine, specifically in the city of Hebron, where the project is located.
