| dc.description.abstract | This thesis is concerned with oscillation results for a class of second-order neutral delay di!erential equations of Emden–Fowler type. Recent oscillation criteria are presented for both the canonical and non-canonical cases, and illustrative examples are provided to demonstrate the applicability of the results. In general, oscillation theorems for both cases are derived by reducing the second order neutral delay di!erential equations to suitable first-order delay di!erential in equalities and then applying well-established oscillation results for first-order equa tions. Moreover, Riccati-type transformations are employed as an additional an alytical tool to derive further oscillation criteria through various methodological approaches | |
