Abstract

Structural design is the most important design that necessary to the building after the architectural design, distribution of columns and the highest level of safety, and this is the responsibility of the structural designer. in this project, We will design the structural system of the building, Which consists of three blocks as follows:- This building consists of 11 Stores "garage, 3 Commercial stores and 2 tower each tower consist of 7 stores, every store have 2 apartment" and it contains all activities required for any person. It is noteworthy that Jordan's code used to determine the live loads "UBC-97" to determine the seismic loads, but for the structural analysis and design section we used the use of the US Code (ACI_318_08), it must be noted that we used some computer programs such as:- Auto CAD (2007+2014), Atir, ETABS 2015, SAFE 2014, Microsoft Office XP.
