In this project, six parts were accomplished. They are as follows: Introduction, Safety Plan,
survey work, engineering design, structural design, results and recommendations.
In the first chapter, a simple introduction was mentioned about the roads in Palestine, and the
problem of the roads in Hebron inherent in the absence of a structural plan for the city, then a
part of the defects that may occur in the roads and calling for rehabilitation of the road was
presented, and then the faults in the road were presented To be rehabilitated with photos.
The second chapter, which is the chapter of the Safety Plan for the project, at the beginning we
touched a little on the issue of occupational safety and the most important risks in construction
projects, then the expected stages of implementing the project were identified, and
responsibilities for each person to implement the safety plan were identified, and in the end it
was mentioned Safety instructions necessary for each stage of the project alone, and it is worth
noting that the plan is not fixed and renewal may be made according to developments that may
occur in the project.
In the third chapter, which is the separation of survey works, the stages of survey work have
been completed, which includes studying plans, exploratory area, and detailed street lifting
works. The devices that we used to survey with their names have been explained with a
simplified explanation of how the GPS system works and work is done to accomplish Muscat
Horizontal for the project (Plan).
In the fourth chapter, the topic of road engineering design was discussed in terms of: signs,
parking lots and lighting, covered speed, number of lanes, horizontal and vertical curves, and in
the end the topic of road services.
In the fifth chapter, the structural design process of the road was explained, where the types of
pavements were initially clarified, then the necessary road tests were conducted, which are
experimenting with maximum density and CBR, then finding the thickness of each road layer
using the winter.
V
In addition, the sixth and final chapter mentioned the results of the project, where the
thickness of each layer of the project was recalled, then the estimated total cost of the project
was found, and some recommendations were given regarding the project in particular and
graduation projects in general |
