Abstract

Information technology has influenced the difference in its services in the development and facilitation of the work of companies as it worked to increase its performance and facilitate access to the services provided by customers, suppliers and other persons, which helped to reduce costs and increase efficiency. The supply chain system is an important system that combines the company and the suppliers, it manages the movement of goods and services, including managing the transport and storage of raw materials and goods (end products) from construction to consumption (the arrival of the product or service to the end consumer). Through research in the local market we found that most of the existing companies lack this type of systems and follow the traditional methods of inventory control and contact with suppliers through sales representatives who have a lot of problems in the preparation of orders and sent to stores for processing to the customer or merchant Other problems found by the research team is Loss of time for salespeople to do as much as the customer or trader after counting what inventory he has and other of problems that we will discover in this study. To achieve the objectives of the study, the project team has planned to build an information system that works on the web environment, in order to transform the work in the local market into a work that depends on keeping up with what is new and achieving the aspirations and vision of the different companies through providing an electronic system for supply chain management using various tools that facilitate the chain and increase of their competence.
