Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a revolutionary achievement of computer science, as these new technologies impact every aspect of our lives. Almost everything we do is related to artificial intelligence, which is wedded to an extent that we can no longer imagine. The gap that separates those who have the knowledge and the ability to exploit it, and the possibility of using information and computer technologies, has made differences between the countries of the developed and developing world between the different regions of the world known as the digital divide, which accompanied by another gap in the availability of the base and the basic infrastructure of facilities and buildings working to employ Technology in all aspects of life and its development, and given the Palestinian society, we find that it is limited to simple applications that do not make a tangible difference, As a result, the idea of a center for artificial intelligence research in Palestine may seem like a good idea to help narrow the existing gap. This research aims to prepare a theoretical study for the design of the Palestinian Artificial Intelligence Research Center, which aims to create a technological icon to be the destination for scientists and innovators through an environment that makes thinking and creativity a method for gaining and developing knowledge. This study depends on a descriptive-analytical method by collecting information about the design criteria of research centers as well as analyzing similar case studies for the project, taking theoretical guidance from different sources such as books, in addition, analyzing the project's site. Accordingly, we reached the necessity of establishing a center for artificial intelligence research to create an effective medium for conducting and developing research and creating interactive spaces with technological techniques.
