Structural Design Of Hebron Hotel In Hebron City

Abstract

The project aims to do structural design for all the structural members for hotel consist of 7 floors and has total area of (9211.7 m2 ), the importance of structural design stage about other stages of the building that suitable structural systems for the building were determined and diversity of structural members for the building like bridges, columns, one and two way rib and solid slabs and determine the suitable foundation, and thus the initial architectural plans were converted into executable plans. To achieve what the project aims the architectural plans were studied and the suitable mechanism was selected to distribute the structural elements so that it does not conflict with the architectural design of the plans, also an accurate structural studying was made to estimate the expected loads on the structural members of building according to the Jordanian code, and the structural members of building were analyzed and designed according to the American code ACI318-14 by using structural design programs like (Atir, Safe, Etabs and SP column), then the executable plans were prepared for all structural members of the building to be ready for implementation.
