dc.description.abstractThis project aims to compare between the geodetic datum transformation method from WGS84 geocentric coordinate as measured using Global navigation sat system to the local coordinates system of Palestine (palestine_1923) The GNSS measured coordinates are well define 3D coordinates with resoect to the WGS84 system in geocentric (X,Y,Z) or geographic (h) coordinates In the other side, the local coordinates used in Palestine 1923 (Triangulation Network) are define in 2D projected coordinates (E,N) or geographic coordinates with real height information Theoretically, there are many transformation methods for datum transformation in 3D (3Dconformal, Helmert, Moldensky..... ect) or in 2D (projective, Conformal, Affine, Polynomial, .... ect) it is going to discussed, how to build the best application of all methods to transform form WGS84 to Palestine_1923 coordinates system Finally, the result of all methods are going to be discussed, analyzesd and compared with each other, The method with best result will be recommended as a final resulten_US
