الصعوبات التي تواجهها المرأة العاملة في جامعات جنوب الضفة الغربية من وجهة نظرها

Abstract

This study aims at discovering the social, familial, psychological, economic, managerial, health and legal difficulties that face the working women in the universities of the southern part of West Bank. It also aims at knowing if there is a relationship between these difficulties and some demographic variables. For achieving the purpose of the study, the research team adopted the descriptive research methodology and used the questionnaire as the primary instrument for data collection. The results of the study show that the working women face social, economic, managerial, and health difficulties with an arithmetic average of the high degree, and familial, psychological and legal difficulties with arithmetic average of the medium degree. The study has also shown that there is no relationship between the difficulties faced by the working women and the variables of marital status, number of children, nature of work, experience and age. According to the aforementioned results, the research team recommends that the woman should make balance between her work and her social obligations. The team also recommends that the working woman should manage her time in a way that helps her undertake her familial and working duties, understand the working woman's conditions, and give her enough social and familial support.
