| dc.description.abstract | This project is about using the mobile phone as an advanced remote control for a car, by installing a central locking circuit that uses Bluetooth for communication, a user with Bluetooth enabled mobile phone and the appropriate software could lock/unlock the doors and the switch , and to turn the engine on/off. The project uses Bluetooth technology to send commands to the car, as a Bluetooth already exists in the mobile phone, one Bluetooth module is needed at the car , the Bluetooth connection has ranges of 1,30, or 100 meters , and the implemented range in this project is 30 meters. The project design has been implemented in hardware and software , the final testing was done on a real car and most result were as expected , the range of the system was about 20 meters without obstacles between the car and the phone, and down to 10 meters with obstacles. | en_US |
