Abstract

مراكز الأطفال مصطلح لكل بيئة تصمم للطفل من سن سنتين إلى 14 سنة حيث ما زال الطفل يتلقى الرعاية والخدمة ويتمتع بالإشراف الكامل.وعندما ندرس احتياجات الطفل من الفراغات المختلفة نجد أنهم بحاجة إلى مساحات تناسب أعمارهم المختلفة،فهم بحاجة إلى مساحات صغيرة وقريبة جدا من المنازل وساحات أخرى واسعة جدا على مسافات ابعد للنشاطات المليئة كما يحتاجون كذلك لاماكن للراحة وممارسة النشاط الهادئ . كما أن البيئة الخارجية تعمل على توفير أنشطة متعددة للطفل،وتوفر له فرصة اكتشاف الطبيعة كالمساحة الخضراء الواسعة وأحواض الزراعة ورؤية وتربية الحيوانات والاستمتاع بالمعلومات المناسبة عنها،مما يساعد في إعداد الطفل للتعرف على بيئته ولأن يكون جزء منها، هذا بالإضافة إلى تزويد بالألعاب والأجهزة المختلفة التي تساعده على النمو الحركي.
