The use of electric power generation systems that penetrate into distribution networks such as Distribution Generator (DG) , Solar energy(PV) which affect voltage coils and loads has become a way to address the increased demand for electrical energy, as the increased demand has caused the system to run at its maximum capacity or at the point of voltage breakdown; It has therefore become necessary to determine the maximum capacitance of the system before voltage breakdown occurs due to system instability. The research reviews the concept of voltage stability index (VSI) as an indicator of weak transmission lines and distribution lines that are most prone to voltage breakdown. The references also evaluate many voltage stability indices. A study was carried out on one of the low voltage networks Beit Sahour (Eish Ghurab), and a number of voltage stability indices (LQP, LVSI, FVSI, Lmn) were calculated, through the use of the power analysis program (ETAP), and the resulting data were collected on Excel and calculate the indices mentioned above.en_US
