Studying and evaluating the current and future MASTER PLANNING for the city of Tulkarm using geographic information systems

Abstract

Master planning is usually updated with the progress of time because of the developments in the areas that are expressed and covered by this plan and the problems that occur in them. For this to happen, the problems in the current Master plan must be identified and analyzed. In our project, we decided to rely on GIS and its tools. Our project will be through the following steps, first collecting data, and this will be done by going to the Tulkarm municipality and the local government. Second, determine the work area using GIS tools. Then, take control points from the work area and link them to the coordinates using GIS. Then the problems will be identified and analyzed after comparing reality with what is in the Master plan and some techniques in GIS. We will work on drawing up plans that will help the architect and the municipality in the Master plan that will be produced
