dc.description.abstractThe main objective of the project is to design and implement a control system for providing a precise amount of heparin during hemodialysis procedure using stepper motor. Heparin is injected into the blood stream between blood pump and dialyzer by syringe pump with capacity of 60 ml. An inductive proximity sensor is used to determine the level of heparin inside the syringe. The designed system is based on a microcontroller that controls the whole system and all heparin pump parameters.en_US
