dc.description.abstract A smart city is a future trend solution that uses various electronic Internet of Things (IoT) sensors to collect data. One of the steps to reach the smart city is the smart lighting system, which uses IoT-enabled sensors, bulbs, or adapters to allow users to manage their home's lighting with their smartphone or smart home management platform. This project presents a design and implements a smart lighting with IoT technology and standards to control the homes lighting intensity remotely by controlling some resources which affect to light intensity such as (curtain motor, etc.), connect the controller with smartphone via Ionic standard application in IOS and Android, also we used API to link between the databases on the server and the mobile application . This controller can deal with multiple sensors and take one or more actions. The system will be built and verified to meet the requirements of this project, ensuring that it performs as it should and meets the needs of the project. en_US
