The project is a residential building consisting of bases, columns, bridges and roofs to
be built to serve the female students at the Polytechnic University using different
materials such as iron, clay, concrete and glass. Reinforced concrete is the most
widely used material in Palestine .
The project presents a residential building design for female students inside the
Polytechnic University campus, which is located in the city of Hebron - Palestine.
This building consists of three blocks, the first block consists of four floors constitute
residential floors for students; the second block consists of three floors. It includes a
library and the other floors constitute a bank
While the third block consists of four floors, containing student housing, shops and a
green area
We have adopted the structural design on the American code (ACI-318-14), the
American earthquake code (IBC2000), and the Jordanian code for loads. Some
programs have been used in the design and analysis process, such as (Atir, safe, Etabs,
Sp colum), and among the programs that It was also used (Autocade, Word, Excel,
Power point).
Finally, the necessary executive plans for the structural elements were prepared, to be
feasible on the ground . |
