dc.description.abstract The architectural and urban preservation of historic cities in the Arab world is one of the most important challenges, because of the importance of this cultural and human heritage which reflects the cultural and national identity of the nation, as well as the historical and heritage area represented by an important national wealth and its historical, cultural, economic and social values. The ancient town of Hebron is an archaeological masterpiece and a cultural treasure, that its people have woven over the years, This treasure is worthy of preserving and protecting it. The old town of Hebron is one of the most beautiful and oldest Palestinian cities, It is an antique masterpiece which was described by the travelers as the end of the Mamluk era. They praised the nature of its buildings and the types of stones that were built there. The old town includes a number of ancient historical lanes, some of which are back in the ground to the Ayyubid period. The majority of the other classes and buildings date back to the Mamluk and Ottoman periods. The town is the historical center of the city and its vibrant heart throughout its ancient and modern history. This heart can not be separated from the body of the city. Since the occupation of the city, the occupation authorities have started to commit various kinds of attacks and violations against the people of the city in order to induce them to leave the city and empty it of its original inhabitants and obliterate the cultural, religious and historical monuments of this city. It also aims to obliterate and Judaize its Arab-Islamic character and to falsify its heritage and its cultural, religious and heritage landmarks. This occupation carried out acts of Judaization through the deliberate destruction of the city's lanes and buildings and its military and settlement control over one of the most important archaeological sites in the city. And what he has done and is still in the settlement outposts inside and outside the body of the city to sabotage the historical fabric of the city and followed the policies that include it, which created the current situation in the old town, which lacks the meanings of life and the manifestations of human right to exist and freedom of movement and the associated elements of a safe life. en_US
