Voiceprint authentication system aims to authenticate users using their voiceprints in an easy
and fast way.
Using voiceprint detection and speech recognition algorithms(SRS), we designed a system on
a Raspberry Pi which will receive audio from the user using a microphone installed on the
Raspberry Pi. Then, process it and check if the recorded voiceprint matches the corresponding
voiceprint stored in the database for that specific user, and check if the spelled words are
correct. This process of authentication is processed by the authentication system to perform
an operation for that user, for instance, a small door sample system, which is controlled by a
microcontroller to open.
This project combined the concepts of Artificial Intelligence(AI) and Internet of Things(IoT)
in a new authentication method.
The system can succeed in authenticating users in a fast way and is able to be embedded in a
subsystem that needs user authentication.
