dc.description.abstract |
Wireless access technologies has followed different evolutionary paths aimed at unified target which is to increase the performance and efficiency of the wireless systems, and now as the evolution of wireless access technologies is about to the reach its fourth generation the newly rising systems should support many applications like real time video, high definition TV , virtual reality programs , online video games and many other greedy applications which consumes most of the available bandwidth , this put an additional pressure on wireless systems designers to keep the offered capacity and quality of the new systems.
Therefore 4G systems adopted the multiple input multiple output ( MIMO) technique to enhance the performance of the wireless systems while maintaining the same bandwidth and with no additional transmitting power.
This research studied the main concept of spatial multiplexing using MIMO antennas as a viable solution to increase the efficiency of the future systems. |
