dc.description.abstract Structural design is the most important design of the building after the necessary of architectural design, the distribution of columns, loads, offer durability, the best prices and the highest degree of safety are the responsibility of the structural designer. In this project we will do the structural design of the " Palestine Polytechnic University College of Medicine ". The college contain five floors, the basement floor, contains scientific labs, store services and cafeteria. The ground floor contains labs, offices, class rooms, pray room and theater. The first and second floors are the same as ground floor contains, and the third floor is a library, with a total area of 9770 m2. This project was selected because of the importance to know how to design these buildings, which have a design requirements higher than other projects with long spans and big theaters and diversity in the form of the building by the architectural design, also it has been chosen for the importance of having this college because of the lack of this kind of colleges in this area.
