Isolated Word Speech Recognition Using Matlab

Abstract

The recognition process will be implemented by MATLAB. The isolated word speech recognition technique will be used. This technique is based on isolated spoken words, so the speech is not continuous it contains silence bursts. The recognizer will record the word or command, recognize it and perform action based on this command. The system will be trained by a number of persons for accurate results. The recognition process consists of two stages, the first command is to select the machine to be controlled, and then once the machine control has been selected the second command should be issued. For simplicity the second command will be either ON or OFF. یھدف المشروع إلى بناء نظام تحكم عن طریق الأوامر الصوتیة، ویتكون ھذا النظام من مجموعة م ن الآلات تش غل بوس اطة الأوام ر "OFF/ON" وت تم ھ ذه العملی ة عل ى م رحلتین : الأول ى؛ وی تم فیھا اختیار الآلة المراد التحكم بھا، و الثانیة ویتم فیھا تحدید الأمر المراد تنفیذه على الآلة. سیتم استخدام تقنیات التمییز الصوتي للكلمة الواحدة و التي تعتمد على تمیی ز الكلمة المف ردة المنطوقة وسیتم بناء خوارزمیات المشروع باستخدام برنامج ال MATLAB.
