dc.description.abstract Despite the vast researches in Palestine on the positioning systems, little is known about the global positioning system (GPS), the real time kinematic (RTK) method is one of the fastest method used in GPS and if we use it on ideal conditions, we will avoid 75% of wasting time on other GPS techniques. Accordingly, there is a need for evaluate and test the used method. The immediate objective of this research project is to know the circumstances surrounding the errors that appear in the (RTK), so that an advanced evaluation will be developed. In this study we measured random points by the fast static technique, and then we measured the same points with the (RTK) technique at different times. After measuring points and calculating errors, Results show that positioning accuracy on the cm-level can be routinely achieved by the (RTK). en_US
