Saybolt Universal viscometer is used to measure the viscosity of liquids by measuring the F to pass O F and 210 O time required, in second, for 60 milliliters of the testing fluid at 100 through a standard orifice. Technology has been used in this device for easy control during testing and give greater accuracy, as it will automatically open the gap of orifice tube and calculate the time needed to fill the 60 ml and then reclosing gap , all of this is controlled by a microcontroller which is also programmed to analyze the input of sensors and put it
in the equation of viscosity and compare the results with the standard information stored in memory and then show the result on the screen |
