Abstract

When a human needs to relax and avoid the noise of everyday's life, he won't find a better place than nature to do his activities. The best place for him is the garden, whether private or public, but the greatest area of human harmony is in the national parks and nature reserves that contain natural elements And more in a way that enhances the connection to the environment, which makes it the best place to enjoy. In Palestine, there are beautiful natural areas need to be reused and preserved. Based on the community and local needs to have a national parks, people need a project that provides recreational, sports and social needs. The idea of the project was to rehabilitate a national nature reserve in Wadi al-Qof area and to revive this area by linking it to specific events for Palestinian youth on both selected mountains, create walking paths and a national garden there. The proposed location of the project was based on a number of motives and reasons, One of the main motives for designing a national park in Wad Al-Qof is the presence of a spaceship and a gathering place for the population of different groups from different regions, and revitalizing the area by activating the movement by linking it to many activities that contribute to cultural, educational and recreational aspects, Social and Economic. The methodology used in this research was based on quantitative information, collecting statistics and figures from the study area, qualitative information based on information describing the study area. In order to reach to a comprehensive planning and design, planning and environmental criteria were taken into account to simulate the requirements of the national park. The site of the project was chosen in the Wadi al-Qof in Hebron as a study area for the future vision of the municipality of Hebron in order to preserve it as a natural reserve, and to reorganize and beautify the valley in ways that create activities for people, and to find open spaces and educational and recreational areas. Some of the obstacles were found during the research work, the most important things were: limited interviews with people, environmental analysis wasح notح done in all seasons, because the project was in one semester, the mountainous nature of the area and the slopes that made it difficult to reach some angles in the study area.
