Abstract
The Integrated Circuits (ICs) logic gates are widely used in the electronic circuits.
Different values and types from different families are needed to design a circuit for
practical operations. To get the proper output of the circuit, its components must
have accurate values. This can be checked by using IC tester. Nowadays, available
IC testers are very expensive, very big and heavy, thus are not portable, and hard to
use. This project used small and cheap components to solve the previously mentioned
problems. It consists of three main parts: IC socket, Android mobile, and website.
The IC socket is built from connecting Arduino Nano and ZIF to test ICs. The Android mobile is connected to this socket via OnTheGo cable to make it works as the main processor of the project. The website is created in order to add new unsupported ICs to the project’s database and verify coming user’s packages from an Android application by JSON. At the end of the project, it has achieved all its objectives and made digital IC tester based on mobile, very small, cheap, using mobile interfaces to provide the easiest
environment for the user and giveing the opportunity to add new ICs to the tester. |
