dc.description.abstract The structural design is the most important design of the building after the architectural design necessary for the distribution of columns, walls, loads, the best prices and the highest levels of safety are the responsibility of the structural designer. In this project, a structural design will be made for Al-Samu Hospital with a total area of 9000 square meters. The idea of this project is in the structural design of Al-Samu Hospital, the project includes the design of all the details and the necessary structural elements used in this building. This building consists of 3 floors in addition of basement floor and ground floor. Which contains the main sections of the nursing units, detection and treatment sections, outpatient clinics, general services, emergency department, radiology department, laboratories, operations and surgery department, ...etc The project was designed using ACI-318-11 will be used in the design and we were use some of programs of structural design such as Autocad, Office, safe, Etabs, Atir...etc. We were refer to several references and graduation projects for data and design calculations. So the project was include detailed structural study, analysis of the structural elements, expected and calculated loads, the structural design of the elements required and the preparation of construction plans en_US
