Abstract:
This seminar is introducing one of the most important classes of topological spaces which is a paracompact space.
Chapter one provides fundamental definitions on set theory and general topological spaces and continuous mapping related to the topic.
Chapter two presents general view about paracompactness, section 2.1 discusses covering properties, and section 2.2 presents the basic topic paracompact spaces with some examples and counterexamples, the next section talks about separations and paracompactness, sections 2.4 and 2.5 introduce product of spaces and mapping, the last section talks about special case of paracompact spaces which is α-paracompact spaces.
